Sourcing Services

Sourcing is the act of hunting for whatever elements you need for your space. In most cases this can take up a lot of a person’s time and energy. With these services, I can take that load off of your shoulders on a month-to-month basis - or assist you as we do it together.

In all cases, my role is to only find the pieces and then send them your way. You are the ultimate driver and decision maker. If you love something, you buy it! Similarly, you can send me things you find for my feedback or to keep track of your spending budget. In this way, we. are working together to source everything on your list.

These do require a consultation and may require a site visit (included) - unless you know already what you are looking for.

Rates are monthly and vary based upon complexity and bandwidth required. A customized Sourcing Bundle is available. A standard Sourcing Bundle which includes all sourcing services for one month, including a day-long Field Trip, is $400.

  • Online Web Sourcing

    After determining your desired shopping list and the style and price-point perameters, I’ll search the web for anything that fits the description of what you’re looking for, including any known name brands you’re inclined toward, and send what I find. Searches may include any new-fabrication online retail sites (Wayfair, for example) or Etsy, Ebay, and online auctions. Can also include higher-end brands(Castlery, Article, etc.) - when you see what you like, you buy! Does not include FB Marketplace (because they are very different animals).

  • The Facelift

    Not only the most budget-friendly, this is the absolute easiest way for us to source together for the most specific, most unique pieces. In short, I scour Facebook Marketplace and shoot you links via text any time I see a listing that fits the description of anything on our list. If your little heart jumps when you see something, you contact them and snag it! I’m just the middleman.

  • In-Person Sourcing

    Either with you or without you, this is bopping around and hunting in various in-person locations, from new and vintage retailers, thrift and antique stores, estate sales, boutiques, etc. If you have a specific place you’d like me to check out, cool. Otherwise, I’ll regularly make trips during the month (and let you know when I do) searching for our elements. You are welcome and encouraged to join, or I can hit it up myself.

    $200/Single Full Day (minimum 4 stops)
    Will travel 80mi. outside Durham (+ $.60/Mile)
    (may be paid in two installments)

    $200 per month (Durham/Raleigh only)

  • Field Trips

    The best way to learn is to do! Field Trips are dedicated full days where you and I travel to some of my favorite regional hot spots for thrifting, antiquing, vintage sleuthing, and just general treasure hunting. Field trips can extend to 80 miles away from Durham (and in some cases beyond for additional compensation). We’ll fit in as many stops as we can and will map them out together, based on what we’re looking for! Can include all retailers and storefronts, estate sales, auctions, warehouses, etc.

    $250 for first four hours (may be paid in 2 installments)
